Be afraid

Well, FEMA teams are spreading out across the North Country, assessing damage from our floods...

(Water level down below flood stage in almost all areas.  But some people are griping that nobody told them that they were buying a house in a flood plain.  What part of "waterfront" don't you understand?)

Sunny, little wind, temperature in the upper 50s F.  Mother Nature has obviously decreed a bike ride.  And you don't want to argue with Mother Nature, do you?

Nothing wildlife-ish to report.  Many dandelions, cuckoo-flowers sprouting, violets both white and, well, violet.  Tree pollen, I'm afraid to say.

Paving work not yet started for the spring season.

Digital transmissions seem to be as sensitive to "multi-path" interference as analog signals are.  According to the on-screen signal strength meter, that station is coming in just fine...so why the sound and picture freezes?

Wife has asked me to disconnect the converter on her set, because of this.  Only affects one station, but it's one that we watch often for news and weather.  She can live with picture ghosts...
