But the world needs a thorough washing, so that's good.

Something I forgot to mention

In and amongst all the Bambi noise, I neglected to announce:

Chipmunk! 

First chipmunk sighting of spring, out at the nature center.  At least, first by us.  Also, robin seen on our walk yesterday.  He (dark head = he) looked grumpy, perhaps not satisfied with our supply of freeze-dried worms.

(This is an April-fool free zone, per rolanni.  So the chipmunk! sighting can be considered factual.)

Duck!

Actually, ducks plural.  Evening walk, I inspected the "skating rink" (now a shallow pond) in case of ducks.  None.  But further on, still in the park, a pair of mallards waddling around and poking at the grass.  Which resembles a marsh at this point, and must suit them.
