Today is the day I don't chase politicians
Feb. 9th, 2008 10:07 amAs noted in previous posts, we have a sudden rush of interest in Maine's skimpy Democratic Party delegation -- 24(?) regular delegates and 10(?) "super delegates" -- the latter being elected officials and party hacks who can vote as they damn well please, rather than as the caucuses dictate. Anyway, for the first time in geological eons, the national party has noticed that we exist. I have an opportunity to observe both Hillary and Barack in the flesh, within a few miles of each other. Different times, one morning and one afternoon, so you can be promiscuous if you wish.
But "caveat emptor" applies -- the Republicans chose Mitt Romney...
And if the candidates don't move their respective butts after the show, they might get snowed in.
