Snowing

Light stuff falling, maybe an inch on the ground now.  The morning weather-twit seems to have revised estimates on total accumulation and the rain/snow line, leaving us with maybe 3" to 5" of slop expected.  That brings us into the range I can't ignore and just drive over, so you may expect an extended grump about shoving heavy wet stuff around while gimping on a sore foot...don't expect there's a proverbial snowball's chance of getting Elder Son to fly back from California to help his aged parents survive.

Experimented yesterday -- I can get the extra bulk of the bandages inside my rubber-bottomed Bean Boots, so at least that's workable.

Maine aerobics

Driveway, cars, sidewalks, steps cleared.  For sufficiently-vague values of "cleared" -- I have hopes that the remaining gray will melt or sublimate, making the true Heart of Darkness (ice) visible to the eye rather than to the feet...

We may technically be above freezing at the moment.
