Not yet blown to the vexed Bermoothes...

Winds gusting over 50 mph in the night, with rain.  We are above freezing.  We have achieved pavement in many strategic areas.  Hell, some grass showing in the yards along State Street, where they get sun all day.

"White Christmas" is pretty well shot -- plenty of snow still, but the exposed surface varies from brown to gray to yellow...

Annual bemusement

I remain surprised at how much my grandmother's Santa, sleigh, and reindeer (elk) set looks like it belongs on our fireplace mantel, and was ever so.
