Gathering gray

No, this isn't the prelude to the north-easter.  Just another annoyance snow, maybe an inch or two here overnight, rather more for southern New England.  But the world is chill and gray.

Time of year where a festival of lights sounds good -- Hanukkah, St. Lucia, burning a huge wicker man with a bunch of politicians inside, you name it.
