When the gales of November come early
Nov. 6th, 2007 08:21 amGray again, windy again, mixed rain and snow forecast for the North Country. Rain for us.
A person could catch Seasonal Affective Disorder from this stuff.
Four crows on the lawn across the street, this morning's newspaper walk. Have seen as many as seven or eight on the ground at once. We can't figure out what attracts crows to that lawn -- the owner manicures it and feeds it and spreads lawn poison to destroy any interesting non-grass plant intrusions and crunchy bugs.
We should send the crow contingent over to our voting place, to feast on the dead and dying of the ruthless democratic process.
