Outlook hazy, try again

The magic 8-ball remains non-committal about bike rides.  Rain has stopped, clouds are blowing away, but the question-mark relates to that "blowing" bit.  Forecast is for a windy day.  Have I ever mentioned that bicyclists don't like wind?

Also, temperature in the 50s F today, upper 40s for the first bit of the week.  We may have reached The End.

Begins to look like the Sox may win the Series.  I'll agree that they can't still blow it when they make the last out and pop the champagne.  (Can anyone out there spell "Buckner?")

One of our computers thinks that Daylight Savings Time hath ended.  This Mac knows better.  But Congress continues to reinforce the old adage that no man's life, liberty, or property is safe while the legislature is in session.  Guess we have to add clocks to that list.

No bike ride.  Winds around 20 mph, with gusts to 30.  Have done an interim leaf-raking and will chop down the peony stalks after leaving this message.
