Sunday roadkill report
Sep. 30th, 2007 02:26 pmRaccoon, porcupine, squirrel, probable fox. The fox only rates as "probable" due to the fragmentary nature of the evidence. Could have been a dog or cat with fox-colored fur.
Waited for the world to warm up a bit, then got out and did a shortened bike run upriver and down the other side. Beautiful day, if your pursuits don't suffer from lower temperatures (still under 60 F now). Ash trees are starting to drop leaves now -- they change and then shed within a week, most years. That's one reason why defining "peak color" gets difficult.
