And the excess thereof.
One prominent feature noted on drives yesterday and today* -- the proliferation of "Self Storage" complexes strewn across the Maine landscape. Long strings of little storage cubicles for your stuff. This in a land of oversized houses. Not just "McMansions", but older places like ours, at least twice the space we need.
*Just back from a drive upcountry to acquire apple cider and admire the advancing seasons. Had looked to get some Greening apples, as well, but none to be had.
