Time for the annual rite of waving bye-bye to the tourists headed south.  We will be able to reclaim our roads, our parks, and our sacred honor.  Or whatever...

That is, until the leaf peepers swarm in October.

Some time twixt now and then, I hope to haul the mountain bike out, dust it off and pump up the tires, and transport it to a trailhead in Acadia National Park, hence to ride up hill and down dale.  The carriage roads are calling.

Looks like a looong football season

Well, at least for University of Michigan fans.  They lost to Appalachian State???

Oh, well.  Exposure to the Red Sox has sorta built up calluses on my need to care...
