Tuesday no-roadkill report
Jul. 17th, 2007 10:44 amNo fresh roadkill. The bisected border collie corpse remains, in severe disrepair -- no longer sure of ID.
Blue sky, little wind, temperature in the 70s F (see, Catja, I can _too_ report good weather) so I hopped on the bike. Cinquefoil blooming along with the usual suspects, did not stop and key the flowers out to a particular species. Also the cattails have spiked out -- funny to see those flowers green rather than brown.
Some damned fool passed me out by the cemetery when I was batting along at about 20 mph, then pulled an immediate right turn that forced me to jam on the brakes. I almost followed him/her in to apply bad language in the hallowed ground, but did not. Thus do I prove my virtue.
