Apropos of Bullwinkle

Saw a line of moose tracks along the weekday bicycle route last week.  Quite distinctive -- large as horse hoof-prints, but cloven.  I have sincere hopes of not meeting the originator out there...

Tuesday roadkill report

Two crows discussing a fresh, juicy woodchuck out by the cemetery, another woodchuck, no visible damage, on the road shoulder out in the bog.

No moose.

Temperature in the low 60s F, little wind, good bicycle weather.  Add bird's-foot clover and hop clover to the flora, plus the milkweed has started to bloom.  Also, ox-eye daisies and a yellow-center yellow daisy that Wife says is probably an escaped domestic.
