Thursday roadkill report
May. 31st, 2007 01:00 pmSome Onceler* up on the Old Kelly Road has had a bunch of largish white pines cut off their yard. Boo. Hiss.
Temperature in the upper 50s F this morning, not raining, so I hauled out the bike again. Usual suspects in the botany and ornithology realm, no countable roadkill** other than that missing grove of century-old trees, lilacs and honeysuckle perfuming sections of the ride.
Showers and coolish weather projected for the projectable future.
15.29 miles, 1:07:28
* "I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees." Or is it "I am the thorax. I speak for the knees?" Knees complain a lot, and probably need a spokes-thing...
** Rules say that squirrels don't count.
