Sunday roadkill report
May. 27th, 2007 12:34 pmOne squashed porcupine out on the interstate, visible from my first overpass. Also, one Leatherman knock-off alongside Forest Avenue, which I picked up and adopted. What is it with these multi-tools? That's the second I've glommed from the roadside, both in good condition. This one even had a sheath.
Temperature in the low 60s F this morning, little wind, so I hauled my carcass out and biked up to the lake, across through the bog, and home again. More rhodora blooming. I'd been afraid I'd have stamina problems, after another sinus attack yesterday, but plugged along.
And I believe I complained last year about the condition of Forest Avenue. It hasn't gotten any better.
