Thursday no-roadkill report

No fresh roadkill on my weekday bike route.  Did see a couple of largish blood-splots, but some busybody (or coyote) had removed the corpses, so I couldn't count those.

Sunny, warm, LESS WINDY, so again on the bike for a ride.  Encountered a drake mallard out in the bog, paddling around in a mini-pond just about big enough to float a duck.  He gave me that beady suspicious look that ducks have patented -- animals react differently to bicyclists than to cars.
