Slightly warmer

We may not have been subzero this morning. Weather prophets think some southern reaches of the state may reach the freezing point of H2O (from below) today. Since we've been worrying about CO2 snow* and methane rain, this represents improvement.

Wife has a social obligation this morning, memorial service for the mother of one of her coworkers at the Nature Center. Twitchy sort of situation, where the death was a release, long awaited -- Alzheimer's, reducing a zoologist who used to work with Nobel winners to a near vegetable...

Ugh.
