Warmer?

Well, less cold, anyway. About 0 F this morning, -18 C, and very little wind for the newspaper walk.* I propose to go skiing again sometime in the course of the day, as I have not had any severe repercussions from the previous outing. (Or, as Wife would say, "Okay, that didn't break anything, let's try harder...") More snow, or mixed precip depending on your location within the great and far-flung North Woods, forecast for tomorrow.

*Yes, I _am_ aware that I can have newspapers delivered to my very own door. I like to get out for a walk right after breakfast. Even with windchills in the ohmygod range.

It's worse than I thought...

Okay, I'm headed out for the ski run (3 miles, about 42 minutes) and I encounter, as always, a ditz driving while yammering. Only this one was holding her cell phone in one hand and gesturing with the other. I'm not sure if she is Italian or not (ethnic stereotype du jour), but really. If you can't talk on the phone without waving your hands around, DON'T DRIVE WHILE TALKING ON THE PHONE!

Unless that was an avatar of Kali, the SUV was proceeding along Howard Street without guidance.
