More on the lack of winter

Driving upriver to the engineer's office with prints on latest EPA Laundry revisions -- no ice on the river. This includes flatwater above two dams. We have floating ice in town here, at the head of tide, but even the stream that flows through downtown has open water.

No wonder the geese and ducks are still hanging around.

Still talking of snow Sunday night into Monday. I'll believe it when I ski on it.

I'd imagine the guys at the Pigeon Loft project don't mind the mild winter, though. They finally have windows installed in all those holes...
