Darwin strikes again

Well, official local measurement of yesterday's snowfall came to about half an inch. Black ice on the roads overnight. Which sent the usual number of cars off the road, LifeFlight helicopter ambulance missions out over our heads*, etc.

We try to avoid driving when the first few snowflakes fall. Takes about three storms to weed out the incompetents and educate the slow learners...

*We live about half a mile from the medical center, within sight and sound of the helipad.

My November issue of LOCUS arrived in the morning mail. *Checks dateline on screen* December fifth, eh?

But I think I love Faren Miller. Not only did she like the book, she liked the same book I thought I wrote. This is not all that common.
