Okay, now _that_ was moderately weird...
Dec. 3rd, 2006 11:22 amA Nice Person offered to fax me a copy of the LOCUS review of DRAGON'S TEETH. I _think_ that's what just screwed my multi-function inkjet (HP) into believing it was reading "transparency" media in the paper tray.
Kept rejecting real inkjet paper and asking me to change the stuff. Only way to wash the machine's so-called brain turned out to be unplugging it...which means I lost the fax in memory.
Working now. Fax was supposed to come from a FedEx/Kinko's -- I would _guess_ somebody punched a bad combination of buttons on one of those Star Wars Empire monster machines. Please, no reason for Nice Person to try again, dumping good money and wasting a trip to the copy store.
