Still gray

Yes, you've heard _that_ before. Cool and damp, though not raining at this precise moment. We have a steady stream of chickadees and finches at the feeders, showing what _they_ think of the weather. Normally, our offerings are just a snack, and they get most of their daily calories, vitamins, and minerals through the ecosystem.

Meeting with owner/contractor (under the same hat, this time) on that EPA-site laundry this afternoon. May get some direction on unit mix and such, or we may just purchase a few gallons of kerosene and be done with it.

(Note to the State Fire Marshall arson squad -- I'm just kidding. I'd say "blowing smoke", but that might be open to misinterpretation....)

Item on the evening news about how the Almighty Guvment has decided that schools can experiment with same-sex schooling. As long as the resources and quality of teaching are the same, you can have all-boy and all-girl classes.

And as I watched a black woman explain how this helps some kids, I kept hearing "separate but equal." Guess you need to be past a certain age...
