Thursday roadkill report
Oct. 19th, 2006 04:54 pmOne flat skunk, up by the fieldstone house. Noticeable odor, but not overpowering.
Gray morning, prospect of rain this evening and mucho rain tomorrow, but the temperature is in the upper 50s F and I wanted a bike ride. Due to the lack of sun, I added my fleece vest to the bike shorts and tee shirt, producing relative comfort. No particular scenery to report. Did see three other bike riders out during my rounds.
Due to the forecast (see above) I think I may visit the pigeon loft remodel this afternoon rather than waiting until tomorrow. Wimp, I hear you say, obvious wimp.
So far, Old Guy hasn't grabbed me by the throat and made me write his story. Maybe POWERS isn't the next thing on my agenda. Or maybe I need to meditate on his character outline a bit, find out what makes him tick and what he loves and hates.
