Thursday no-roadkill report
Aug. 17th, 2006 10:47 amNo fresh roadkill on the weekday bike route. I spotted several blood-splotches, but no corpse so no cookie. Road crew had been mowing the shoulders along the bog section, which may skew statistics.
Blue sky, temperatures in the 70s F, little wind. Forecast may throw the long Sunday ride into jeopardy.
The sidewalk paving crew has reached the end of the second block of our street, turned around, and is heading back down our side. Which means, on the cosmic screw-you principle, that they'll probably be blocking our driveway when Wife needs to leave for work tomorrow morning.
Added words to POWERS yesterday. The demon did, indeed, want another beer.
