The morning of flattened frogs...

Looks like last night's rain stirred up the local amphibians.  Dozens of flat frogs on the asphalt, green frogs and leopard frogs and teeny-tiny wood frogs and the occasional behemoth of a bullfrog.  Also considerable Eau de Skunk parfum in one area, but I didn't spot a corpse.  Might just have been a shot across someone's bow.

I had to wait for the roads to dry, such drying as can occur with 90% humidity, and the air kept the drizzle feel to it so I didn't dare the full Sunday route I had planned.  Biked upriver, turned inland, chickened out, and headed back via some hills to stir up at least _some_ cardio-vascular excitement.  Brown-eyed susans blossoming in the fields, plus some pickerel weed in the wet areas.  And purple loosestrife, dammit.

Been poking at SIGNATURES again, checking for other places where my non-PC Fat Wizard may have touched a modern nerve.  Should get to the end of that this evening or tomorrow and print off a copy for Wife to scan, checking to see if I've totally ruined the thing.

...To Floyd Landis, winner of this year's Tour de France bicycle race, riding with a damaged hip.

He's probably some kind of distant cousin of mine, being the offspring of Pennsylvania Mennonites.  Small gene pool, that.
