Damp

Not actually raining, and I think we got less rain than forecast Monday/yesterday. Still, I'm sure the fire warden folks appreciated every drop of it.

Fat Wizard is standing on the stern deck of a ferry, chatting with the current incarnation of the Big Bad who is waving a revolver around but doesn't know enough about pistols -- he actually checked when Fat Wizard mentioned that the safety was still on. Most revolvers don't have safeties....

May be a possibility of a bike ride tomorrow.

Should I 'chuck it all?

(No, not talking about writing, or bicycling, or Jack Daniels, or any of the other vices I should give up...)

We have our annual woodchuck. Should I trap it (Havahart box trap, humane etc., to be released at the nature center) or should we let it take up residence under the rear of the house? It's cute, it eats dandelions, it's a rodent...

And we don't garden anymore. If it was aimed at our Lincoln peas and broccoli, there would be murder done.
