Tuesday no-roadkill report
Temperatures in the mid-50s F today, less wind, sunny, so I went with bicycle shorts and a ski-underwear top. Turns out I could have gone whole hog and used the bike tee-shirt as well -- came back pleasantly damp.
Wood frogs quacking out in the bog. Yes, I meant frogs instead of ducks -- wood frogs sound like a flock of ducks gossiping. I could still spot a few patches of ice back in the bog forest shadows, and no sign of skunk cabbage yet. Not as much water as normal, either, level should be up to the road or over it in spots, and I'd guess it's at least a foot down.
Added words to SIGNATURES this morning, Fat Wizard still lives. He's trying to figure out why. Seems there has been a little misunderstanding about ends justifying the means.
