I am contemplating the replacement of our major stereo system, a Dynaco component set that I assembled from a kit maybe 30 years ago. The subcarrier filter on the FM stereo receiver went out a few years back, no parts available, so we've been listening to broadcasts in mono. And lately the CD changer, a later addition, refuses to read a disc of Vivaldi that other players, such as this computer, think works just fine. Probably dust getting into the laser, so I _should_ be able to tear the thing down and clean it out, but...
Meanwhile, Fat Wizard sits at his kitchen table and downs whisky straight from the bottle, while supersaturated clues turn to a chain of crystals in his brain. Problem is, he'll be too drunk to deal with the result by the time he figures it out. Not too drunk to try, though...
And the Live Journal spellcheck seems to believe that all "whiskey" is Irish. Did they reprogram it for St. Paddy's Day?
