Windy

Temperatures have warmed up into the mid 40s F (7 C) and the roads are drying out. I may attempt a short bike ride this afternoon, if the trend continues. And if the mountain bike's tires still hold air...

Printed off the latest chapter draft this morning, progress progresses. And at least _one_ sign that somebody reads the Local Fishwrapper -- according to the electronic card catalog, all the copies of my books have been signed out of the library since that interview hit the newsstands. Maybe someone will _buy_ the friggin' things?

Yeah, I know, why buy a cow when milk's so cheap.

Bicycle

Not _quite_ one of those years when I can ski one weekend and bicycle the next, but close. Pumped up the tires on the mountain bike, found that they do, indeed, still hold air, and rode out around the cemetery and back. Stopped a few times on the way to adjust the seat -- forgot that Elder Son had the bike last year, and apparently wanted to sit lower.

Windy. Courted silicosis from the amount of winter dust stirred up by passing cars. Ruts, frost-heaves, and potholes represent a clear and present danger. But riding is good for my health, right?

6 miles +/-, 35 minutes

Is it November already?

Amazon now shows a listing for DRAGON'S TEETH. With ISBN, even, but no cover image. Which is just as well, as I don't think Ace has received the art yet....

Ah, the weird and wonderful world of publishing.
