The world is a mess

I'm not talking about politics or religion or global warming or other metaphysical metaphors. I'm talking about the bits of broken cars swept to the side of the road and the shingles blown loose by various winter winds and the outpoot of hundreds of incontinent pooches and the scattered remnants of garbage bags ripped open by raccoons and coyotes over the last three months.

Melt the snow away, and what remains gets ugly fast. Early New England spring is not a pretty place.
