Speaking of ellipses at the end of a sentence, apparently the rules have changed since the days of my youth. The copy-edit changed all my four-dot versions to three-dot. I learned it that if you were ending a complete sentence, you added one.... Whereas, for an incomplete...

Was cleaning up from Irish Soul Food* for lunch, and dropped Wife's big ovenware glass dish. Tempered glass fragments all over the place. Swept twice, ran the shop vac twice, _hope_ I got all of it.
