I wonder how many people (snowmobiles, cars, pickups, fishing shacks) fell through the ice yesterday. According to the news-critters, January 2006 was the third or fourth warmest January on record, and February hasn't shown signs of breaking that trend. We didn't set a daily record yesterday, but came within a degree or two.
But the heating oil bill is down.
Oh, and about that football game -- what genius decided they needed to bring Mick Jagger and Company into Motown to sing for the halftime show? No local talent big enough?
