Back to the old salt mines...

Email from the Nice Editor Lady yesterday, the copy-edited manuscript of DRAGON'S TEETH is headed this way. Life goes on. Now I get to read through dead words and see all the things I could have done better, and defend my split infinitives and run-on sentences from the slings and arrows of outrageous grammarians. If I split an infinitive, I meant to _boldly_ split it.

At least they don't need the manuscript back before the end of February. And it's not as if I can go skiing, with no snow out on the trails....

Fat Wizard may have to go on hold for the duration, depending on what Life and The Day Job serve up.
