(Probably mistranslated)

LJ seems to have gotten over yesterday's little job action. Work to rule?

Went for a neighborhood walk after dark yesterday, and I have to report dire portents. The first _residential_ "season" decorations are up and lit. An inflatable snowman-group in an inflatable crystal ball in one front yard, with strings of lights outlining the house. And, several streets over, an artificial tree blinking in the front window.

So much for energy crises.

(No roadkill report, as I saw no fresh roadkill to report. Which is not a bad thing.)

No wind this morning, and temperatures in the 40s F. I decided that if I can ski cross-country with windchills below the condensation point of carbon dioxide, I could put on my fuzzy stuff and go for a bike ride. Ice on the ponds at the cemetery, ice on the open water at the bog, probably half an inch thick, but my ears and fingers and toes survived. Let's hear it for PolarFleece (TM) jackets and pants!

And I wasn't the only fool out there -- passed three other cyclists and a few joggers, one pair with kid in high-speed stroller.
