The sun exists. We had not seen evidence of it for some time, but it rose this morning in the usual fashion and is now melting frost off our roof and cars.
As an addendum to yesterday's snow report, I will note that some of the ski areas in the western mountains of our fair state received over two feet of snow. Since many of the hardwoods still have leaves on, this snowfall caused rather more than the normal level of uprooted trees, broken limbs and downed power lines. Nothing like Wilma did to Florida or the earlier Katrina/Rita complex, but the line crews had a busy day and are still at it.
