Easing back into it
Sep. 23rd, 2005 01:04 pmAdded a few words to PENDRAGON AUTUMN this morning, first writing since before our trip to the Undisclosed Location. About half of what I wrote needs to be recast as POV thoughts as the guy tries to figure out what's bugging him, thereby maybe avoiding the appearance of an infodump.
Maybe once the distractions die back, I'll be able to concentrate a bit. Between the trip (_not_ a vacation, lest you Dear Readers labor under a misapprehension, but a family obligation to shore up aging and noticeably declining parents-in-law), the impending doom of DRAGON'S EYE hitting the bookstore shelves and attracting the slings and arrows of outrageous critics, this antique pile of dry-rot we call a house, and some random day-job foolishness, I've been mostly running in circles and gibbering.
And the outside world ain't helping even a little bit.
