Damp

Headed out early to get my bike ride in before They scatter any of Their "scattered showers and thundershowers" our way. Temperature is about 70 F, but I came back soaked with sweat -- the dew point must be in the upper 60s. No sign of that dead skunk out near the bog. Municipal services, or a great horned owl picking up dinner on the cheap?

Certain of the local roads are headed to Hell in the proverbial hand-basket. I have to watch the so-called pavement rather than roadside attractions, and even so I think I need to get that new rear wheel "trued" because of an abusive relationship with US 2. Day lilies blooming in the roadside ditches, though, close enough to the road for me to notice.
