Printing off two clean copies of GHOST POINT this morning, good thing Staples sells copy paper cheap. And I remain in awe of the current laser printer -- there's a _hell_ of a difference between 24 ppm and 4 ppm when you're talking about 548 pages of manuscript. Plus cover sheet, of course. I used to drive out to the Nature Center at this point, as they had a faster (office-grade) printer than the one we had at home, and that saved enough time to be worth the drive and hassle with disks and all.

We have sunshine this morning. Also a wind, which may screw up my idea of a nice long bike ride and force me into moderation. The temperature has not yet reached 60 F, but they offer hope. May get into the 80s tomorrow or Tuesday. We are supposed to have an average high in the 70s around now, but I do think it is cheating to achieve that by alternating 90s and 50s...

Bike ride achieved, but I can see that I'll fall short of the minimum 500 miles target for the end of June. Between the weather and Barnstead's interference in my normal schedule, the total currently sits at about 350. Maybe I'll cheat and switch the bike computer over to kilometers....

Still cool, temp about 60 F, and enough wind that I did stick to a local ride. Acquired a touch of road rash in the process -- one of those silly things a cat would walk away from with a "I meant to do that" flick of the tail. Came up to a stoplight and couldn't get my foot out of the expletive deleted pedal toe-clip. Slow sideways topple to the pavement, accompanied by frictfull aiths.

Need to mow the lawn again this afternoon.
