Rain. Sun. Steam.

Okay, yesterday gave us temps in the 50s F, today we're headed into the 80s, and the weather gods sandwiched rain in between. Bike ride turned into a minor steam bath, relieved (mentally, at least) by a hawk cruising across while I stopped for a water break on the interstate overpass upriver. Didn't get any definitive looks, bad angle and it didn't wear its name-tag. Largish, rounded wings, light underneath and dark on top. Most likely a red-tailed hawk, although it could possibly have been a goshawk.

Three more chapters of Wife-mandated changes on GHOST POINT and then I can set that aside to marinate for a week or so. I think it may be almost a book.
