Hazy, hot, and humid

This is the point where I start to cut and paste last summer's entries. Hazy sun, came back from the bike ride soaked with sweat. Thunderstorms predicted for this afternoon or evening, with cool and damp for tomorrow. Further to the day's agenda, getting more line for the string trimmer, buying a can of Gumout (TM) or modern equivalent for the lawn mower, pulling the gas tank of same to flush out any grass clippings or other crud from _it_, and lubing the bike chain and tightening a spoke or two that went click-click-click on the morning ride.

At least I felt up to the ride. Just went across to the airport and back, rather than my regular long Sunday outing. Must get more mileage in, falling behind . . .

Canadian Imperialist Pollution

We can smell (and see) smoke along the stern and rockbound coast of Maine. From forest fires up in Quebec.

I think I'm gonna call Homeland Security. Aren't they supposed to be closing off that sort of cross-border infiltration?
