Nothing more to see here, move along...

The Saga of the Sinkhole has run its course. Gravel backfilled to the road level, compacted, leveled again, swept up, concrete barriers removed. We apparently do not get asphalt at this time -- with major sewer work scheduled this summer, I can't understand why the city is passing up the chance to waste some tax dollars.

We now return you to your regularly-scheduled road. As far as I _know_, the crews didn't break anything.

No wildlife on morning bike ride, unless you count two mallards flying low overhead or that bike chick passing me at speed. But she's a lot younger.
