More signs of spring...

Couple of canoe-type peoples pulled out of one local river, one had taken a ride over a 15' dam. Water is still cold enough to have ice floating in it. Noticeable hypothermia, in one case severe enough for a run to the hospital....

Another couple of dittos hauled off mid-stream islands in some rapids, they at least had enough sense to be wearing wetsuits. There have been fatalities elsewhere in the state.

Ice jams on rivers in the north of the state, several miles long, one place over 30' deep. Roads and bridges flooded.

Temperatures about 20 F lower today than yesterday. No bike ride. Uh-uh.
