Rain yesterday, temperatures in the mid-40s F, freezing overnight. So all the rainwater and meltwater seeps out from under the snowbanks and coats the roads and sidewalks with the dreaded BLACK ICE! I could have used a set of climber's crampons for my newspaper walk this morning. We'll keep the cars off the roads for a while longer, thank you.

And maybe I'll get back to GHOST POINT. What with one thing and another, mainly my ongoing war with the city snowplow over possession of the end of our driveway, I didn't get much forwarder on either writing or architecting yesterday....

Well, Ohio Street seems to have reached the point where the net pothole count is going down. Mergers and acquisitions, you know, just like with banks and such.

Temps in the upper 40s F this afternoon, with forecast of rain turning to snow overnight. Oh, well, it's good maple sap weather.
