The rain in Maine falls plainly on the stain...

And everything outside right now is stained. Rain just makes it look worse. Light rain, at least so far, and the temperature is up around 40 F so it doesn't look like freezing, but They are forecasting for a change-over to snow flurries later. That implies things about the air temperature that could be ominous.

Another 500-600 words in on GHOST POINT this morning, adding in to The Shrew's section and then Beowulf's POV that follows. I may have to quit revealing plot points sometime, assuming that Spoilers will lurk on the internet forever. But I'd guess that too few people read these blitherings to matter.

And besides, Harriet Klausner will give it all away with her review when the book hits print.
