It's a long long trail a-winding

This is almost the first time I've played the meme game. Curiosity triumphed.

1. Go to Mapquest

2. Get directions. Enter your current address, and your childhood home (or hometown if you can't remember the address).
3. Post and discuss.

1230.54 miles, travel time 18 hrs. 45 mins.

Mapquest put the address star too far toward the center of the block.

I find it rather amusing that I remember a: the address and b: the neighborhood map and can find my school and the swimming pool, given that we left the town when I was seven. Like, fifty years (approximately, dammit!) ago.

But then, I'm the guy who could drive back to our family's lakeside cottage near Traverse City after having last seen the place at the age of ten...
