A day of little accomplished
Dec. 18th, 2004 07:08 pmDid a couple of rooms of the "Move furniture and vacuum behind it every few years whether it needs it or not" routine, walked, read a section from the email crit group and offered a useless comment on it. Watched some TV.
Did _not_ start on the DRAGON'S TEETH line-edits. Haven't even read through the bloody thing. Classic avoidance syndrome -- I know it can't be awful, or the Nice Editor Lady wouldn't have bought the damned thing, but my stomach cringes nonetheless.
And I don't actually _have_ to do anything about it until after the holidays. I already have DRAGON'S EYE ahead of it in the publishing pipeline.
Maybe if I ignore it, the word-processing elves will do it for me. Leave out some cookies and milk, or Brussels chocolate and Jack Daniels, whatever....
What do word-processing elves _really_ want? Any suggestions?
