Anyway, haven't done much writerly today, unless you count visiting some books and signing them. Mr. Paperback has the MM edition of THE SUMMER COUNTRY and Daltons now stocks THE WINTER OAK. Once again, spells of summoning were muttered over the corpses of dead trees.
Speaking of dead trees, I hauled a hundred pounds or so of magazines out of the attic and consigned them to the recycle bin. Why we still had NATURAL HISTORY copies from the 1970s is a question best left unexamined. The 1990s stuff was bad enough.
Will dump the gas from the lawn mower this afternoon, trying to clear whatever was blocking the line the last time I used it, before storing the machine for the winter. Swap the snowblower into the place just behind the garage door**, after starting and running _that_ in preparation for Impending Doom. Noon weather forecast says we are facing a week of _highs_ around 40F.
