Milestones
Aug. 26th, 2004 12:37 pm1001 of them, to be exact.* The bike computer went over 1000 miles on today's ride, a couple of weeks behind my normal schedule due to surgery in late winter and our recent absence from bike territory. If the weather holds, I should stretch that total to maybe 1300 or 1400 miles for the year.
Numerology rules! Hey, when I can't ride any more this year, I'll start reporting words-per-day like some of the other writers. Or hours spent cross-country skiing, if the snow gods provide a base.
15.3 miles, 1:02
*Within the limits of calibration on two different bike computers, variations of tire pressure, and the fact that I didn't have a working odometer for a few rides. In other words, a WAG. Your mileage may vary.
