Plate tectonics

We appear to live on a very mobile section of crust. Sometimes we get weather forecast for the mountains, or the coast, or central Maine or way 'downeast' or southern Maine or (occasionally) New Brunswick or Quebec. This evening we have a sea breeze, in spite of living about thirty miles from the general line of shore. Damp, cool, and IN MY FACE BOTH WAYS ON THE BIKE RIDE AGAIN.
