Did the geocache thing with the Nature Center GPS units, both in succession. Item one, they didn't seem happy with their satellite coverage under the spruce and fir of the Great North Woods -- only picking up three or four sats, accuracy estimates varying from 20' to 200' without moving. Elevation quotes ranged from 100' to over 400' while sitting on top of the cache. I found the thing okay, but while I was signing the log, the GPS unit was pointing off toward the SSW and said those coordinates could be found 165' thataway....
Maybe more expensive units have better receivers or antennas. I assume the calculation units are pretty much interchangeable.
